The new food is the mixture of Chinese baozi and western pizza. It has included the tastes of the two kinds of food. The restaurant, located in Beijing, serves all kinds of tastes of Baozza such as Marguerite and BBQ chicken.
The inventors of the food are a few American businessmen. They used to travel to southern China for business meetings. After they saw and ate baozzi made of pork or vegetables many times, they came up with the great idea of creating Baozza.
Alex Cree, one of the inventors, said, “We were talking about the idea of making a kind of special baozzi with more traditional western tastes like that of hamburgers and pizza. And then we called it ‘pizza baozi’.”
“There are a lot of people who only order one or two Baozza for the first time. They worry that the food doesn’t taste so good,” Loren Heinold, another inventor, said. “However, they will ask for more soon when they turn around.”
