How are you? I am in Beijing, China now. The food here is different and I don’t like it. But I like the people here.

Young people in Beijing like to see movies on weekends. But old people like to see Beijing Opera. There is no Beijing Opera in America. It is like a story song. I like it very much.

I have a DVD player in my room. I often watch comedies(喜剧). They are my favorites. There are many shops in Beijing and I can buy my favorite DVDs. I also watch Chinese action movies. There are lots of Chinese actors in the movies. Jackie Chan is a great one. I think he is funny and really good at Chinese Kungfu. I like his movies very much.

Mr. Green is not old, but he doesn’t have much hair. His wife Annie has beautiful thick(厚的) black hair. They have a daughter Ruth. She is four years old.

There is a photo of Mr. Green in the living room. One day, Ruth looks at it for a long time and then says to her mother, “Mom, why does Dad have so little(少的) hair?” Annie laughs and says, “He has very little hair because he thinks a lot. He is a clever(聪明的) man.” Ruth looks at her mother’s thick black hair for a few(几，一些) seconds, and then she asks, “Mom, why do you have a lot of hair?”
