Liaoning, Liao for short, lies in China’s northeast. It is where the eastern end of China’s Great Wall starts. It has a history of more than 6,000 years. Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province, is the largest city in the northeast of China. Dalian, one of the most beautiful cities in China, is in Liaoning.

Heilongjiang, Hei for short, is a province in the northeastern part of China. The province takes its name from the Heilong River. The capital and the largest city of the province is Harbin. It is rich in coal and forest. Daqing oilfield, the largest oilfield in China is in Heilongjiang.

We had a terrible school trip last week. Some students were late. Then we waited half an hour for the school bus, but it didn’t arrive. Finally, our teacher took us to take the subway. It took over an hour.

When we arrived at the zoo, we were all tired and hungry. We wanted to see dolphins(海豚), but there weren’t any. There were some really smart seals(海豹), but we didn’t see the show because we arrived too late. We forgot our cameras, so we didn’t take any photos.
