Drones（无人机）are like planes, but come in many shapes and sizes, they have no pilots and are controlled from outside the drones. During these years to attack（进攻）enemies or move goods in dangerous areas.

However, any drone company needs the government’s permission（允许）to fly its drones in many countries. We believe we will see more and more drones with fly in the sky very soon.

The world’s first robot police officer started work. Its name is “RoboCop”. It worked in malls, airports and on the street in Dubai (迪拜). By using a touch screen on its body, people can report crimes (罪行), pay office fines and use other police services. The uniformed RoboCop is 170cm tall and weighs 100kg. It has a serious look. It can shake hands and speak six languages, so it is able to have a chat with you and answer your questions. It can also tell when you are happy, sad or even smiling so as to find the possible or wanted criminals (罪犯). You won’t be surprised if it can dance very well. So far, the RoboCop has taken the place of most policemen in a perfect way.

By 2030, Dubai will have the world’s first smart police stations with no humans working there. The government says, “The age of the robots has arrived. There are plans over the next two years for the world’s largest robot, which can run at 80km/h. And an egg-shaped robot will serve in parking places. It’s going to help to fight crimes and improve happiness.”

Virtual reality(虚拟现实)is coming for the cows. A team of researchers have developed VR headsets for cows living on a farm just outside of Moscow. They want these cows to believe that they are standing in summer fields, rather than the cold ones.. In this case, VR is being used to trick the cows into thinking that they are standing in a nice warm field, when, in fact, they really aren’t.

Now people use the VR headsets to play the VR games or to lose themselves in virtual environments. There is a risk that VR will become a seductive(诱惑的) activity. People would like to turn to VR, simply because it’s easier and more enjoyable.

One of the studies in Journal of Happiness Studies shows that people, especially the old, women and those out of work, are very likely to watch TV when they are unhappy. This kind of situation can be made worse influence human emotions. In the future , we might increasingly turn to virtual reality to achieve excitement and happiness. But as with the cows in Moscow, this won’t change the reality of our lives.
