Sara likes doing sports. She often plays football. Going swimming is interesting! But she doesn’t like playing basketball. In summer, Sara likes to go camping (野营) with her grandpa! She doesn’t like to help her grandma in the garden (花园). It’s not interesting!

Many students didn’t see the movie The Sound of Music before. They didn’t know anything about it. The movie was directed (执导) by Robert Wise and starred (主演) by Julie Andrews. It is really a great American movie. It is about a woman named Maria living in Austria who went to help the Von Trapp family and care for Mr. Trapp’s seven children. At last the whole family cheered up from the sad past.

Mr. Von Trapp’s home was in a suburb (郊区) in Austria. At first, it was a happy family. But when Mrs. Von Trapp died, the family fell into a deep sorrow. Maria was a tutor (家庭教师) in Mr. Von Trapp’s home. She tried her best to teach the children to sing nice songs and perform plays. All his seven children liked to play with Maria and they became happy again.

Mr. Von Trapp didn’t feel lonely any longer. His feelings were much better. The smiling faces made him happy, too. In the end, his family moved to Italy.
