New cities will have to be built in the sea. Some of them will have two levels(层). People will live on the upper level; the lower level will be used for traffic, shops and factories.

Biotechnology(生物技术) will make food better and healthier. Plants without insects or illnesses(病虫害) will be developed. (B)The taste of fruit and vegetables will be better and food will be kept longer.

Many new ways to cure(治愈) illnesses will be found. People will use products of genetic engineering(基因工程产品) to cure more illnesses. However, some new illnesses will appear.

As we all know life in the future will be very different in many ways from life today. What will the changes be?

First, there will be changes in our diet. Maybe no one will eat meat every day. They will eat fruit and vegetables. Second, computers will be very small, and there will be at least（至少）one in every home. People will take the computers in their pockets. Third, work in the future will be different, too. Robots will do dangerous and hard work. So people will only do safe and easy work. People will have more free time to travel.

Cars, undoubtedly, are one of the most important transportation tools today. They have had a huge(1)________[ˈɪnfluəns] on our daily lives. In my opinion, when it comes to the future of the automobile industry, there are three challenges: accidents, traffic jams and pollution.

The first two challenges can be solved by artificial intelligence(AI) and the Internet of things. These two technologies will make self-driving cars a reality. Cars will drive themselves to their destinations automatically. Thanks(2)__the IT, cars traffic lights and even pedestrians will be connected with each other. Traffic information will be transmitted in real time. For example, if there is roadwork ahead, the AI system will tell the car to change its planned route. This way, traffic jams can be avoided. There will also be fewer accidents caused by careless drivers.

The last challenge, pollution can be solved by exploring new sources of energy. Electric cars are much cleaner than petrol cars. In recent years, electric cars have already become more and more popular. Many people have been driving electric cars. However, new problems, such as pollution caused by old batteries, have been arising. How can we solve these problems? It’s high time we thought about that. There is still a long way for us to go. I believe that with our combined efforts, newer and more reliable technologies will appear. They will help create a brighter future for road transportation.
