Everyone has worries. How do you deal with your worries? There is always something you can do to help yourself feel less worried. Sitting there worrying is no use and it can’t solve your problems. Grades at school are often a top worry for kids. If you worry most about grades, ask yourself these questions:
◆Why are grades important? What do grades mean to me?
◆How do I get ready for class? Do I go over my notes even when there isn’t a test?
◆Do I have a good learning environment?
◆Have I tried different ways of studying?
If your worry is about a fight with your friend, you might write down all the things you could do—write a note to him or her, invite him or her to watch a basketball game, say sorry to him or her and so on. Once you have a list of things to do, you could choose one thing that may get your friend back.
You can ask for help when you’re worried. You can find someone to talk to, such as your parents, friends and teachers.

When you are sad, you need to find ways to deal with your sadness. When you learn how to deal with your sadness, you’ll find your own happiness.
Accept your sadness. It’s not a bad thing to feel sad. Try to face what is making you feel sad. And don’t believe it will just go away by itself.
Speak about your sadness. You don’t have to tell everybody everything, but it is nice to talk to friends or family members about your feelings. You may not need him or her to say a word; just having someone listen to you is sometimes enough.
Put your sadness into written words. Write down how you are feeling every day and why you think you are feeling this way. Write down how you deal with your sadness and which way works.
Take part in activities. Read a good book, listen to music, exercise or take a walk outside. These can help you feel comfortable and forget your sadness.

Having a bloody nose can make some people nervous, but in most cases, nosebleeds are easy to stop and rarely (很少) serious. Around 60%of people will experience a bloody nose in their lifetime. Nosebleeds are most common in children from 2 to 10 years old and in adults aged 50 to 80.
Common causes of nosebleeds include dry air and injuries to the nose or other parts of the head. Blowing your nose too often when you have a cold can also lead to nosebleeds. You probably already know how to stop a bloody nose right away, but it’s important to do it properly and safely.
Always sit up straight when your nose is bleeding, and never lie on your back. One of the biggest mistakes in first aid is that you should lean (倾斜) back with a bloody nose, but the best thing to do is lean forward. The blood needs to go somewhere, and if the person leans back or lies down, it will most likely go down his throat, possibly causing choking. And try not to put tissues (纸巾) into your nose.
Pinching (捏住) the nose properly stops or slows the bleeding. Hold the nose for at least five minutes. Do not let go to check for bleeding until at least the first five minutes are up. If you can, keep the pressure on for longer, After five minutes, see if the bleeding has stopped. If not, pinch again, but keep it up for 10 minutes this time. Remember: Don’t let go to check for bleeding until the 10 minutes are up. If bleeding doesn’t stop after that time, repeat it for another 10 minutes if necessary.
Avoid activities such as heavy lifting, blowing or picking your nose for a day after the nosebleed has stopped. Remember that if you can’t stop the nosebleed with these methods, see a doctor immediately.
