My sister went on a school trip to a large outdoor swimming pool last week. Early 【小题1】 the morning, all the children got on a bus with their teacher. It was a very 【小题2】 (small) bus, so it was 【小题3】 (uncomfortable) trip of all their trips. 【小题4】 two hours, they reached their destination (目的地). It was 【小题5】 (hot) day of the year. When they saw the pool, the children couldn’t believe their 【小题6】 (eye). It was 【小题7】 (big) swimming pool they had ever seen. There was even a big water slide (水滑道)! My sister said it was much 【小题8】 (enjoyable) than the roller coaster (过山车). Everyone had a good time. When their teacher asked if they had enjoyed the trip, they all agreed that it was much 【小题9】 (good) than having lessons 【小题10】 school.

People usually take a trip to make themselves happy and relaxed when they are on vacation. But last summer, I had a special travel experience. I 【小题1】 Mount Wuyi with my parents. Mount Wuyi is 【小题2】 the northwest of Fujian. It’s famous for green forests, clear water and nice tea. Every year, thousands of people go there on vacation.

I 【小题3】 three train tickets online. The train should start at 8:00, but it was late. We had to wait. When we finally got on the train, it was 9:00. What’s worse, there was 【小题4】 wrong with the air conditioner. I couldn’t stand the high temperature and the terrible smell in the carriage (车厢). As 【小题5】 as the train arrived, I ran out quickly.

A tour bus took us to the 【小题6】 of the mountain. We rent three bikes to ride on. It was too hot. We had to keep drinking along the way. Of course, Mount Wuyi was really beautiful. We heard the bird singing and enjoyed the green trees. We were tasting delicious Dahongpao Tea 【小题7】 it rained suddenly. Riding in the rain became more difficult. I fell off the bike. Luckily, I wasn’t hurt. But I felt too 【小题8】 to ride on (继续骑). I wanted to give it up. After overcoming (克服) all kinds of difficulties, we finally reached the top of the mountain.

Paul and I were in Toronto for five days last month. It was an 【小题1】 (interest) trip. We traveled 【小题2】 train from New York City. The train was comfortable, but the trip was too long. It 【小题3】 (take) 11 hours!

When we arrived 【小题4】 Toronto, we 【小题5】 (visit) the city on foot, and by subway or bus. It was really easy! There are a lot of things to see in Toronto, but my favorite place is a tall building 【小题6】 (call) the CN Tower, the 【小题7】 (two) highest communication tower in the world. It’s 553 meters tall! Tourists can go up the tower and take 【小题8】 (photo), but they have to buy a ticket first. I also love the Toronto Islands. They have beaches, but the water is sometimes too cold to swim. You can’t drive a car on the islands, 【小题9】 you can ride a bike. It’s a great way to get around! Paul and I had 【小题10】 really great time in Toronto!
