My name is Judy Rowling. I’m thirteen years old, and I’m a middle school student. I live in a big new house with my father, my grandparents in Nanjing, China. There is a small but nice room for me. I like it very much.

Now let me tell you something about my new house. My new house is on a busy street. There is a big, new and clean park across from my house. I can see the beautiful flowers and tall green trees from the window of my room. We often take a walk in the park after dinner every evening.

There is a big supermarket near my house. It is between a hospital and a cinema (电影院). We can buy fresh fruit, vegetables and food in the supermarket. They are good but cheap. My school is near my house, so I always walk to school. I really like my new house.

I live in a nice new building in Beijing. It is very tall. It has eighteen floors. There are about eighty families in the building. That is to say (也就是说), about two hundred and forty people live in the building.

My home is on the twelfth (第十二) floor. We have two bedrooms and a living room. They are big and clean. There are a lot of big trees and beautiful flowers around our building. I like looking out of the window in my room. I can see cars and buses running in the street. I can see people walking in the street, too. They look so small! I can also see a lot of tall buildings. How beautiful Beijing is! I am happy to live in this nice, new and tall building.
