Chinese animated film Ne Zha has proved to be a big winner in this summer’s box office. It has been number one for 18 straight days until Monday since its debut（首映）—still more than double that of its closest competitor, the China Movie Data Information Network said on Tuesday.

The film, already the highest-grossing（最高票房的）domestic（国内的）animated film on mainland China, earned 88.21million yuan on Monday, with a total box office of more than 3.6 billion yuan.

The film is about the story of Ne Zha, a Chinese mythological（神话的）boy. He is a naughty boy, because he seldom listens to others’ advice.

The film is successful. Not only most children love to watch the film, but also many adults would like to go to the cinema to enjoy it. In the movie, there are lots of fantastic pictures and actions. It’s really a success of cartoons.

Beijing Opera is our national opera. It has a history from 1790. Its music and singing came from Anhui and Hubei. There are four main roles in Beijing Opera: Sheng, Dan, Jing and Chou. Beijing Opera is full of famous stories, beautiful facial (脸部的) paintings, wonderful gestures (姿态) and fighting. Some of the stories are from history books, but many of them are from famous novels. The people in the stories usually can’t agree with each other. They became angry, unhappy, sad and lonely. Sometimes they are frightened and worried. Then they find a way to make peace with each other. Everyone is usually happy in the end.

Beijing Opera is an important part of Chinese culture. In the past, it was popular with old people while young people didn’t like it. But now, more and more young people are becoming interested in it. At the same time, more people around the world are learning about Beijing Opera.

China has a lot of intangible cultural heritages of humanity（人类非物质文化遗产）. In recent years, a number of them have been known around the world. Here are five of them.

	Chinese Zhusuan (2013) Zhusuan was first discovered by Liuhong. With a long history of 1,800 years, it is considered as the world’s oldest computer. However, it is different from the modern computer. It uses an abacus. It is a symbol of the wisdom of the Chinese people. But as the world develops so fast, it has lost its role in the 21st century.
	The Twenty-four Solar Terms (2016) It is called the fifth great invention of China. It was created by ancient Chinese people about 2,100 years ago. It shows the relationships between the climate and agriculture（农业）. And it plays an important role in Chinese agricultural production and daily life.
	Tai Chi (2017) Tai Chi is a kind of Wushu. It has been practised in China for about 600 years. It also mixes slow movements and deep breath. Tai Chi is popular with the old people in China, but few young people would like to pass it on. So the government is trying to encourage more young people to take part in the Tai Chi.
	Fanjing Mountain (2018) Fanjing Mountain is in the northeast of Guizhou Province. It is the main mountain of Wuling Mountain and it is 2,493 meters high. Fanjing Mountain is full of green forests and many kinds of rare animals. So, a lot of people come here to enjoy the beautiful sights and fresh air every year.
	Peking Opera (2010) It is a perfect example of Chinese culture. It has a long history and a complete system of stage performance. Its main roles include Sheng, Dan, Jing, and Chou. It uses four main skills-singing, speech, dance and combat.
