Mr White helps his mother move into a new house this Sunday. He starts at 5:30 in the morning. First he cleans the windows. Then it takes him a lot of time to carry the heavy bed into the new house. He helps his mother hang the curtains up（挂窗帘）, too.

Mr White is very tired when he gets home. It is 9:15 p.m. He can’t find the right key to the front door. Then he tries the back door, but he can’t open it, either. “I should climb in through the window,” Mr White says to himself. He doesn’t want to wake up his wife and children.

But suddenly, a big black dog comes to him. Mr White is very afraid. He doesn’t have a dog! He realizes (意识到) he is at the wrong（错误的）house! The police come when he is leaving. “What are you doing, young man?” asks a policeman.

“I’m not a thief（小偷）,” says Mr White. “I’m at the wrong house!”

People usually do some shopping and buy some gifts before Christmas. There are lots of people in the shop. They are very happy.

Kate is going to buy a book for her brother. Her brother is a student and he likes reading very much. Kate is going to make a toy for her sister. She is only three years old.

Kate’s family usually get together on Christmas Day. Her uncle lives in another city, and he always drives his car back. This year he is going to arrive before Christmas. Then they are going to put up the Christmas tree in the living room, and they are going to decorate (装饰) it with lights and a star.
