阅读下面短文,简略回答所提出的问题

In most classes, students sit at desks and listen to teachers in a classroom. But in a new class at chapman Middle School (CMS) in Kansas, US. Students are leaving the blackboards behind and having their class in the open air.

They are actually taking an outdoor life class. It's not a typical class, but teachers are trying it out. "We want kids to experience the outdoors," the class teacher John Harris said. Twenty-Six students attend the 9-week-long class. The class includes four parts: archery (射箭), hunting safety, survival skills (生存技能) and fishing. Students will also discuss how to protect natural resources.

Before Harris’ class this year, archery teacher Andy Fewin taught a outdoor life class. All CMS students took it. "It gets kids to join in something other than sitting and playing video games." Fewin said. Harris shares the same idea. He believes everyone needs to enjoy life and get outside.

"We have the outdoor life class to get the kids interested in their class." Harris said. "Since the start of this new class, students have changed a lot. They become more active and pay more attention in class after this meaningful and educational class." Harris said.

①Nowadays, some schools teach traditional subjects like math, geography, and language, but they also teach life skills. Life skills classes teach students how to keep their rooms clean and tidy, take care of their health, and have healthy personal relationships. Some people say (A) these classes prepare students better for life in the real world. But other people say these classes aren’t important. Students should only pay attention to how to get into university. What do you think?

②Some people like the idea of teaching life skills in schools. They believe life skills classes give students what they need to know to live on their own, such as cooking a meal and managing money. Many of these classes also teach “soft skills”, like how to listen and talk to people in a positive (积极的) way.

③They think as students learn more life skills, they become more confident in themselves.

④On the other hand, some students don’t agree to take these classes. They believe that there is no time for more subjects at school. They think it’s more important to teach traditional subjects than life skills at school.

⑤Besides, many students choose not to take life skills classes because these classes don’t improve their chances of getting into university. They also think it should be the job of parents to teach them what they need to know at home.

⑥Personally, I think we already learn many life skills while doing traditional subjects. For example, we learn teamwork by doing group work, and organizing our homework teaches us how to use our time well. I believe all schools should teach life skills. This will make sure that students are better prepared for college and work when they leave school.
