Zhuang Yuanjun has helped over 200 students walk out of mountain areas. It seems like a small _________ for a teacher who has taught for over thirty years, but it’s meaningful.

Zhuang _________ to teach at the primary school in Luannitang Village in 1986. All the students in this school had to have class in the _________ room, so he divided the blackboard into different parts and gave them lessons in turns.

In 2006, the number of students continued to _________ and some schools were closed. His students were integrated into (融入) a larger primary school. Meanwhile, a school in another village still had students, but there were no teachers _________ a teacher retired (退休). Upon getting the news, Zhuang _________ to teach there. He lived far and had to ride to work by motorcycle. The mountain road was difficult to ride and he _________ many times. But there was no other choice — the children were his duty.

In 2017, Zhuang and his students were integrated into the town’s central primary school. “The teaching environment has _________ improved and I have more time and energy for my work,” he said. “I’m _________ to see that my students can study in a bright classroom, enjoying their study time.”

In the shop, I heard a mother talking to her son, “Are you sure you want to spend your birthday ______ on an ice-cream?” The little boy was about five. He said, “Yes.” Then the shopkeeper ______ him an ice-cream and he gave her his money. He was leaving when the shopkeeper told him to wait and dropped a few coins, his change, ______ his hand. The little boy had a look at his coins and then put ______ into the charity(慈善) box at the shop. He turned around and our ______ met. He smiled at me and I smiled back. Then he left with his mother, eating the ice-cream ______.

After watching that little surprise, my heart felt lighter and the world seemed ______. By simply sharing a few ______, that little boy made the world a better place. By simply being kind, that little boy ______ life another surprise. I hope that we all can do the same.
