Song Xiaobo, a handsome 24-year-old boy, finished in the second place in the competition called “Come On, My Hero” in 2006. He was born in a small family. When he was one year old, a fever made him lose his hearing. His parents tried their best to treat his illness. Now, Xiaobo is taking care of his family. Though he cannot speak or hear like other normal people, after about 8 years of training, he is now a professional dancer. You can always see confidence (自信) in his eyes. Most of the time, he likes to smile. Xiaobo calls himself silent milk. And just this shows his simpleness and sincerity(真诚). Although he can’t hear or speak, he will never stop performing actively on stage. Maybe he is not strong physically, but he is very strong in spirit. His confident smile is the most beautiful thing. Everyone loves it. His diligence made him successful. Come on, my hero!

He and his wife (妻子) Victoria have three sons. Harper is their younger child and the only daughter. She’s the apple of everyone’s eye in this family.

Harper celebrated her 9th birthday in 2020. To have a wonderful party, the whole family got ready for it carefully. All of them had a wonderful day at their home in the Cotswolds, England. They wore special T-shirts with words “Happy Birthday, Harper!”

After stopping his football life, Beckham became interested in many things. He worked as an actor. He learned to keep bees (蜜蜂). At Harper’s birthday party, he showed a new skill to us.

The superstar shared a video (视频) of himself and Harper on Sina Weibo. In the video, both of them dressed in red clothes. The girl was practicing writing Chinese calligraphy (书法) with the help of her father. Harper was slowly writing the Chinese word “qi”. It means “seven” in English and it’s also her middle name. Relaxing in their Cotswolds home,   they looked happy with their work and showed it in front of the camera (相 机).

In 1882, a two-year-old baby girl caught a bad fever. The doctor saved her life, but she couldn’t see or hear any more and then she also found it very difficult to speak.

Helen was very brave, she never gave up hope. Soon she began to learn about the world by touching or smelling. She followed her mother’s actions and was soon able to do some jobs herself.

At the age of five Helen began to know she was different from other people. She found that her family did not use signs（手势）like she did, but talked with their mouths. She wanted to talk but no matter（无论）how she tried her best to talk, nobody understood her. This made her so angry that she couldn’t get on well with others.

When she was seven, Miss Anne became Helen’s teacher. Anne was careful to teach Helen. She made classes interesting. As a result Helen learnt to read and write in Braille. She also learnt to speak although she could not hear at all.

When Helen was at college, she wrote The Story of My Life. After she finished college, she travelled around the country, giving lecture（课程）after lecture. Nothing is difficult if you try your best. That’s for Helen and that might be for everybody.
