Mahedi Hassan Sunny, from Bangladesh, is one of the many international students at Peking University. He always finds something new and surprising when he travels around China. Recently, another thing that surprised Mahedi is a reply to their letter from President Xi. The international students of Peking University wrote a letter to President Xi. 【小题3】, President Xi wrote back to them. When the reply was sent back to them, every one of them felt so excited and unbelievable.

In his reply, President Xi said an old 【小题4】, “Seeing is believing.” That 【小题5】 it’s better to see once than to hear 100 times. He also welcomed these foreign students to travel around China, see more of 【小题6】 China, learn about it and let other people know what they have seen here.

“I think it’s the 【小题7】 way to understand China. I have been living in Beijing for 4 years. Beijing is more interesting than I expected,” said Mahedi. “I hope during my next days in China, I’ll get more surprises from China. I think the more places I travel, the broader my vision (视野) will be and the more surprises China will bring to me.”

I love traveling, nature and animals. I have been to many 【小题1】 museums, such as the National Science Museum, the International Museum of Toilets and the Hangzhou National Tea Museum in Zhejiang Province. In the National Science Museum, I learned about many 【小题2】 and knew who invented them. It's unbelievable that technology has made such rapid progress. It 【小题3】 me to study harder. In the Hangzhou National Tea Museum, I watched an 【小题4】 tea art performance and learned how to make a perfect cup of tea with beautiful tea sets. This spring, I visited an amusement park with a couple of friends in Singapore. We saw 【小题6】 of foreigners, such as Germans, Indians and Japanese. We took some photos with my 【小题7】.

Singapore itself is a 【小题8】 and safe place to have fun. It's 【小题9】 near the equator. This is a good location for traveling. You can go there whenever you like. The temperature there is almost the same all year round. On the one hand, don't fear whether you can speak English or not. You can 【小题10】 speak Chinese there.

On the other hand, it's also a good place to practice your English.

As far as I know, China, with 9,600,000 square kilometers, has the largest population in 【小题1】. The eastern part faces the Pacific Ocean. It has many 【小题2】 animals. The list includes the huge whales living in the sea, the "ships of the desert"—camels and so on. China is also pandas' birthplace. According to panda 【小题3】 research, an adult panda can weigh 100 kilos or so and eat about 10 kilos of bamboo a day. To 【小题4】 the wild animals, our government has built many nature reserves.

The excitement of touring attracts many foreign 【小题5】 to visit China every year. Feel free to have a tour, and you'll find many famous places, such as the Great Wall, the longest man-made wall in the world. It's more than 6,000 kilometres long and 【小题6】 enough at the top for five horses or ten men to walk side by side. It's very steep and amazing. Be careful not to fall over on the Great Wall.

Another amazing tour is the Himalayas. They run along the 【小题7】 part. Qomolangma is the highest in the world, which is up to 8,844.43 meters high. Thick snow covers the top all year round. Many climbers want to challenge 【小题8】 in the face of difficulties, even though it's hard to take in air near the top in the freezing weather conditions. Some have 【小题9】 and achieved their dreams. Climbing Qomolangma is a great 【小题10】 for them.
