“Mary, Dear! Take this milk! "Mother put a glass of milk over the table when I got ready to go to school.
“You didn't eat anything last night. I know you are hungry. Just take it, "she said gently.
“Well! Don't you think I am old enough to tell whether I'm hungry or not? "
That whole day, my mother’s sad look was in my mind. In fact, I had a fight with her the day before. She said I was very selfish and it could bring lots of problems in the future.
Now I knew that she was right and I felt sorry for it. When I got home, I found my mother in the kitchen cooking a meal.
“What is for today, Mom?”
“Yes.”
Then she smiled at me, but I didn't say sorry to her.
