The belief made the rabbit a popular symbol of good luck.

In the West

In the West, rabbits are regarded as a kind of lucky animals. 3. If a hunter can catch a rabbit, it’s also a sign of good luck. Another tradition for good luck found in North America and the UK is to say the word “rabbit” on the first morning of every month. 4 .Rabbits also show up in other areas of western culture. It’s a rabbit that Alice follows in the story of Alice in Wonderland. Rabbits are related to Easter. Although the animal appears in many different places, it’s always seen as an animal to be welcomed.

Dogs like living with people. A dog can be a very good friend. He can do a lot of things for people ① Some dogs help people to look after sheep, other dogs help them to find lost children. And some of the dogs can help the blind(盲人)do things.

Many years ago there was a very good dog. His name was Seeing Eye dog.②现在我们能在世界各地看到这种狗。They are working for the blind. The Seeing Eye dog is strong, good and easy to train(训练). He helps the blind to walk from place to place.

Before a dog becomes a Seeing Eye dog, he must go to a training school for about three months. First the dog has to learn to sit or stay when he hears the trainers call. In his next lesson the dog learns to make his trainer across busy streets. The dog has many things to learn. ③And in every lesson he must learn to do one thing over and over again for many times.

④在训练学校的末期他必须参加测试。When he passes the tests, the Seeing Eye dog will do the things by himself.

Now he can help blind people. The new master(主人) may be a man, a woman, or even a child. ⑤ It takes the dog and his blind master about a month to learn to work and live together.

Bees are insects. Bees are special insects because they can fly! They can move through the air like an airplane! Bees can fly because they have wings. They use their wings to fly. Bees can fly fast. Bees can also fly slowly.1.它们能上下飞. They need to fly to get to the flowers!

Bees can have three colors. They can be yellow, red and orange. All bees are black in some places.

Bees have three main parts. They have a head. They have a body. And, they have a stinger. The stinger is used to defend against enemies. They also have six legs. 2. They use legs to stand and climb. They also use legs to eat and collect pollen (花粉).

3.蜜蜂生活在很多地方. They live in Africa, Australia, Asia, Europe, North America and South America. The only continent that-bees do not live on is Antarctica! I understand why they don’t live in Antarctica. It’s too cold!
