I am Tim. There are four people in my family. My father, my mother and two boys. My father likes fall best because he can draw many beautiful things in fall. He’s an artist. His birthday is in March. My mother likes winter. She’s a nurse. Her birthday is in November. My brother likes summer best. His birthday is in May. I like summer, too. Because he can eat ice-cream and I can go swimming with my friends in summer.

Jack, my classmate, is a Canadian boy. He comes to China with his father and mother. They come here to work. Jack comes here to study. He is in the No. 1 Middle School. He gets up very early every day. He is never late for school. He studies hard. He often helps us with our English, and we often help him with his Chinese. After class he often plays football, swims and rides horses. He likes swimming best. He makes many friends here. On Sundays he often helps his mother clean the house, mend something or do shopping. He likes Chinese food very much. Jiaozi is his favourite. He likes living in China. He says, “China is my second hometown.”

John is a boy. He is 11 years old. He gets up at 6:00 a.m. Then he does morning exercises. At 7:00, he goes to school. He usually cleans his room on the weekend. Some times he goes shopping. He likes summer best because he can eat ice cream in summer. He likes autumn, too. Because the weather is cool and the leaves are beautiful.
