I arrived in Guilin yesterday. What a beautiful place! The people here are kind and I made some new friends. Guess who I met here today. Bill, my English teacher! He is working here as a volunteer (志愿者). He works in a middle school. He showed me around the city. I also went to his school. His students like him very much. I bought some presents for you and Dad. I bought a red dress for you and a black hat for Dad. They are very nice! I am going to fly to Beijing next week.
