Rural basketball game goes viral on Chinese social media platforms

China’s hottest grassroots basketball game was born in a primitive venue. Over the past months, a rural basketball game, “Village BA,” in Southwest China’s Guizhou Province, 【小题1】 (attract) widespread attention across the country for its warm atmosphere. Since the game was held by local villagers in Taipan village and most players came from villages, the game was affectionately known as “Village BA”, 【小题2】 (term) after “NBA”.
