When I was in Grade 8, my family move to another city, so I had to go to a new school. Being in a unfamiliar place, I felt lonely and frightening. Worse still, some subjects were so difficult to learn from that I had no idea how to adapt to the new environment. My teachers noticed my problems but often encouraged me. With their help, I made some progresses in my lessons. However, it wasn’t easy make friends. My classmates had already known each other. I found it hardly to fit in. My mother suggested that I chatted with them. Following his advice, I soon got a few good friends.

Yao is one of my best freinds who I grew up with from the age of 2. However, she moved to Italy 9 year ago because of her parents’work. She brought me a little memorial sculpture of a cartoon character or the newly updated series of the novels that we are crazy about before as gifts. What kind and considerate she was!

I like travelling and my dream of visit Beijing, the capital city of our country, come true during the National Day holidays this year. In October lst, I went to Tian'anmen Square with my parents, there we watched the flag-raising ceremony. As I watched flag rising slowly, I sang the national anthem, feel extremely excited. Then we went to some other famous tourist attraction, like the Great Wall. Standing on the Great Wall, I felt very proudly, I thought of the old saying that "One who fail to reach the Great Wall is not a hero." Although I was tired hut I really had a good time.

The other day I picked a bag of oranges and offered them to my neighbors. They are two brothers living together and all have young kids, whom always play with my daughter after school. They are always grateful for my little kindly gestures.

I also have some things that my daughter no longer use. I am glad to pass these things on, thought they might be useful to them. A few years ago, one neighbor gives me her snowboard. My family never forget take it along when we go to a number of snowy place.

I believe in that the reuse of resources is good for us but good for our Mother Earth.
