The blue whale is certainly the largest animals on the planet today. Just the heart of a blue whale can weight as many as a family car. You might think that such a big animal would need to eat another big animals to surviving. Surprising, the blue whale feeds on some of the smaller ocean animals.

A blue whale can live between 80 and 90 years. Unfortunately, it is believe that there were only 10,000 to 25,000 alive. They were hunted for in the 1900s but hundreds of thousands of them were killed. Let’s hope number of whales on the planet starts to increase in the coming years.

Ladies and gentlemen, today I’m going to share something amazed about dolphins. For ages, the sailors have said that it is good luck to see dolphins swimming alongside boats. Their presence meant that land is near, which will be vital informations if a boat and its crew are in danger. Some dolphins have even protected sailors which suffer shipwreck from sharks. There is no wonder that these unique and fascinating creatures have long known as our friends.

Dolphins are thought to be intelligent animals because of its quick ability to learn. They seem to communicate with each other through a combination of whistles and clicks. While scientists don’t know exact what they are talking about, it is thought that dolphins are telling each other that food is nearby, or warn each other of approaching danger.

Yesterday I see a special bridge in the West Lake. It was building for little wild ducks! It turned out that in that place flowers were growing, surrounded by steel nets above water to prevent fish eat them. However, many new-born wild ducks were born this year and they had difficulties getting into the lake to follow their mothers but feed themselves. In order to help the ducks, the local officials built the little bridge, what helped them enter the place of the lake easy. Now they are playing and seeking food with its mothers happily. It is said that the bridge will pulled down when the little ducks grow up big enough.
