Three years ago,I was chosen by my classmate to take part an English speech competition.When go up to the stage,I felt nervous.At the once,my mother's words came to me,"If you want to succeed,it costs nothing and self-confidence."Since I had the chance to standing here,it meant that I had the ability.I said to myself,"Have you forgotten that you have prepared for this competition for a longer time?You are the best."Strange,my nervousness disappeared.I spoke very fluently that all the audience cheers after my speech.I was successful!

Nowadays, there are more and more people who attach great importance relationships in career success. Being polite is the first and most important step to developing good relationships among friends. Polite words can be easily said yet always have some unexpected and powerful result in your daily life.

Always saying “please” and “thank you” will make your friends feeling more comfortable and more willingly to offer help when necessary. We all know that one man’s success is based on what he deals with people. Always being grateful for other people’s kindness and show your gratitude through the words you say. The more support you win from other people, the more faster you will move towards your goal.

Remember, be polite to others cost nothing so it’s worth a million dollars.

This morning, when I was walking on the streets, I saw that two travelers were reading a map, looked puzzled. It seemed that they were lost. I went up and asked what I could help them. They told me they are looking for the Temple of Heaven. I led them to nearest bus stop and advised them to take Bus No. 20, who could take them there directly. They were appreciated my help greatly. Short after that, the bus came and we waved goodbye each other.

Seeing them on the bus, we felt a kind of satisfaction.
