Being responsible is actual not that difficult. I used to think it was hard to growing up into a responsible member of society. An incident happening in a rainy Sunday afternoon changed my attitude. I was on my way to the bookstore and was waiting for the green light while a girl was knocked down by passing car，which drove off quickly. A man immediately gave her first aid and I had joined in without hesitation. Soon many help was given to the girl. Because we sent her to the nearest hospitals in time, she was able to receive proper treatment. Not badly injured, he expressed gratitude to those giving help. Comparing with the escaped driver, I was proud of what I did.

As is known for us all, to be polite is what we senior school student should do. In fact, there are a lot of things they can do. First, it’s important for us to speak polite. We must respect others. For example, when meeting someone we know, we are supposed to greet him or her by say hello happily. Second, we can’t throw rubbish somewhere. Littering is not a good habit, which definitely do harm to the environment we live in. Another important thing is what we must follow the rules. There is no doubt that waiting in line is important rule. So never to rush into the bus.

One day, a young man, whom couldn’t get back home, came into my office to ask for help. He said his mother was disabled. His phone had stolen with his wallet and he hadn’t contacted her for the past two days. Therefore, my job was assessing housing applications, not provide money for travel. I asked him to wait outside unless I finished my work. After work I drove him all the way home. We arrive at his mother’s house at 10:30 p.m. She was in a wheelchair and she answered the door. I saw tears in her eye as she thanked for me. I just hoped that if my son experienced nothing similar, someone would be nicely enough to bring him home to me.
