If we often question whether that we are told is true, we can find the correct answer and learn more. Several days ago, our teacher offered us an answer to a difficulty math problem in class. Although an answer seemed a little strange, but only I doubted it. I thought of his answer might be wrong, I carefully considered the problem and tried to work them out in a different way. Half an hour late, I finally managed to find the correct answer. When I showed the answer to him, the teacher praised me for my independence thinking.

From this experience I had already come to the conclusion that questioning can serve as a bridge where helps us find the truth.

As we all know, being a teacher is not easy job. A teacher who has to play too many roles like an educator, a guide, a conductor, a director and sometimes a parent, either! We all have at least one favorite teacher more like a friend to us in our lives, but we are always sincerely grateful to them for all the love and guidance. The hard work, time and patience that teachers devote with students, without doubt, is beyond compare. They are simply strong pillars behind building any nation. They work tireless without any complaint to enrich the lives of on-going generations. To acknowledge the amazed value of their efforts, we are supposed to send them special cards or gifts on their graduation day. In this way, we would be able to deliver our thanks to those inspirational teacher in the most beautiful manner.

Li Yan is a Senior One student. And she is one of my classmate. She has been awarded the title of “Student of the Week” for that she did for our class. On the hot afternoon of last Saturday, Li Yan went downtown and walked from one store to another, looked for the clothes we would wear in the singing contest. While the rest of us was comfortably enjoying our leisure time in cool rooms, she spent on the whole afternoon searching and selecting. Finally, she finds the right clothes. Deeply moving by the efforts, we tried our best and won the first prize in the contest.

Li Yan is always warm-hearted girl who cares a lot about the class. Besides, she often devotes her spare time to helping another people. She deserves the honor but we should learn from her.

It seems that my English teacher, Miss Smith, real loves both English or teaching the subject. I think she influence me in two important way. Firstly, she makes me interesting in English. Now I was used to reading English books and watching English TV programs in my spare time. Secondly, she shows me how a teacher can use the students’ own creativity help them learn. Instead of just being a kind of audience for lessons, we take a part in the decision on which happens in the lessons. If I ever have to teach anything in the future, I’ll copy his method.
