Something amazing happened in Singapore recently. A taxi driver went extra miles to find a 13-year-old boy 【小题1】 had left a bag in his taxi. The taxi driver, named Oh Kim Beng, failed to find the teenager after searching for him for about half an hour. But he finally managed【小题2】(return) the bag when the family contacted his company.

The teenager had boarded【小题3】 taxi on April 10 at Changi Airport with his family【小题4】 Australia. They were 【小题5】(plan) to spend a week in Singapore visiting their relatives. Mr. Oh noticed the bag【小题6】(leave) on the floor of the backseat after he left the car park.

He【小题7】(immediate) turned back , and decided to try his luck by knocking the doors in the nearby living area to find the teenager. But he had to give up after more than 30 minutes’ trying because his colleague(同事) who would take over his shift(轮班）【小题8】 (wait) for him.

Fortunately, the family finally got in touch with his company, and he returned the bag【小题9】 (contain) a laptop and some other personal belongings to the teenager. The Fable of the Chicken

When I woke up again, a familiar face appeared before me, 【小题8】 I immediately recognised. “Ned!” I cried.

Ned told us that he found a strange creature made of steel. It was 【小题9】 (evident) a hard, solid body. We found there was no opening on its surface. We were wondering 【小题10】 eight strong men, their faces covered, appeared noiselessly. We were drawn into their incredible machine.
