Yesterday afternoon I was chatting on the phone while something made me look up. On the other sides of the street, I saw my very elderly neighbor kneeling in the grass. I hang up the phone and ran out of the house. He was taking walk, and he tripped (绊倒) on the pavement. My neighbor was very large a man that I couldn't lift her on my own, so I ran back to call my husband! Together we got him standing, and he was unable to walk. Luckily, a woman, which bicycled by, came to help. She got on a lawn chair from my front yard and we got my neighbor seating. After a few minutes' rest, we sent him home.

As middle school student, not only should we acquire knowledge but also we should have good qualities. I think express our gratitude to people who helped us is one of the good qualities we must have. Two years before, my classmate, Wang Wei ran into difficulty because his father is diagnosed with lung cancer. His father’s illness added to his family?s trouble, but Wang Wei was in danger dropping out of school. After learning about his bad situation, our head teacher gave him timely help by allowing him to continue his schooling with any tuition．With the help of the teacher and classmates，Wang had finished school．Just before this important exam he wrote us a letter expressing his sincerely thanks for all what we have done．

I think honesty is a important part of life. Lack of honesty lead to all kinds of problem. For example, if you lie to your friends, you will have to work hard to win back his trust. And if you can't depend them to tell you the truth, then your friendship is unlikely to lasting.

Honesty at work is just as important. A person which doesn't value honesty is a bad partner. Most people work in teams and if you cannot trust a partner, the team would break down.

In a word, it is my belief that honesty in our life is very much important. Without it, our life would become great unpleasant.
