It all started with a post on the social media.

The circle of life was on live display with the help of some little children and young turtles in the American state of New Jersey. The turtles had been found as eggs in the bodies of their mothers, all _______ by cars travelling through the animal’s habitat.

The _______ was part of a program that has saved thousands of turtles and has returned them to the wild over the past 25 years. The turtles were either raised from eggs or were _______ from roads or other dangerous places. “It’s a great community _______,” said Lisa Ferguson who is the director of research and conservation at the Wetlands Institute.

Maryann Webb, a former teacher, knew the impact that literacy (文化水平) and social skills can have on a child's well-being. After a little research, she ________ that three million Australians were living below the poverty line in 2017, and over 700,000 of these were ________. “As a parent, I was shocked by that statistic and how many ________ children live across Australia,” says Webb. “The more I learnt, the more I was ________ to do something.”

Her bright idea was first to ________ Play and Learn packs.
