I took part in an English Speech Contest last week. As only competitor from our class, I had to compete with 14 other excellent participants selecting from the whole school. When it is my turn, I got a little bit nervous at first, but soon I calmed me down at the thought of my English teacher’s instructions. Then anything went smoothly. I performed so good that the judges and audiences gave me a big round of applause. Although the question-and-answer section was the most challenging, but I managed to get through properly. When the judge announced the finally result, I was excited that I won first prize, that was totally beyond my imagination.

I am exciting to tell you good news which our school photography club is going to hold an International High School Student Photography Show.

Protect the environment is the theme of the show. It will start from June 15th till June 17th. If you are interested, you are welcame to participate.

I know you are good in taking good pictures and you always want to do something for the environment. I remember you showed me some photo on that theme last time you visited to our school. At the beginning of April, a photo show was holding in our school. It was great success! All the photos were taken by us students. There were both black-and-white and color photos, showed our school life, the beauty of nature, festival activities and so on. All the work of art were on show in the reading room on the second floor. Every day, the large number of students went to enjoy them and they were surprised to find that the pictures were extreme wonderful. Those their photos were chosen the best were given unexpected prizes. In short, this photo show really made our life color .

With my May Day Holiday is approaching nearer, I’ll be free for almost a week. I’ve planned to photograph the green mountains and rivers under the help of my father.
