I’m an senior high school student named Leo. Now many students have iPads and think it’s a fashion to use it. With iPads, we can listen to music, downloading a lot of learning materials and read e­books on the screen. Obvious, it’s beneficial our study. Some students, however, bring their iPads to the classroom and listen to music without earphones, that makes other students very annoying. Some of them even waste precious times playing video games in class. In my view, as students, we should make good use of iPads to improve our study. The classroom is a place for students to study, but concentration is greatly needed when we are learning. Furthermore, the school should find a way to let the students to use iPads in a proper way.

Three years ago I became a student in an ordinary school. Disappointing as I felt at the shabby campus and the poorly-equipped classroom, I found the teachers patiently and considerate. Beside, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in class. I decided to make the best of it. I worked hardly and got along well my teachers and classmates. Whenever I had difficulties, they are always available. Soon, I became one of the top student in our class, that greatly increased my confidence and I got more motivated. My experience tells me that it is not what you are given but how you make a use of it what determines who you are.
