By the time Kenny, 16, reached his three year of high school, he has become vice president of his school’s cooking club. Kenny said he developed his love for cooking by watching his grandmother, she owned a business. And at age of 5, he cooked his first dish. Take it to school for lunch, he warmed it up in the school’s microwave, while the other kid ate sandwiches.

“I love to eat, and it started to become much fun to cook than to have food prepare for me,” he said. Cooking came easily to Kenny. He was very enthusiastic about it that he didn’t let anything to stop him.

It’s been two years when I joined the campus radio station. During this time, I had done several interviews. Every time I finish to writing an article, I am proud of myself for able to introduce the things I’ve seen to my schoolmates. It was difficult at times, but when I saw my stories publish in our school newspaper, you knew that it was something worth doing. My parents, teachers and schoolmates congratulated me on that I did. I felt happily when I shared a new story with them. The greatest thing about being the reporter is exchanging idea with others.

The high school life of three years have made me learn a lot of things. Among them teamwork is the most significantly for me. In fact, I didn’t realize its importance after I was elected monitor of my class. In the beginning, I did almost all the duties myself. However, other students cared little about class activity. As a consequence, I   tired out and depressed. Then I turned to my head teacher, whom advised me to cooperate with others. Thus I began to recognize the strengths at my classmates and managed to have everyone to play a role in class. It is working in teams instead of on my own which has freed me of trouble and made my work more efficient. Without teamwork, I wouldn’t have made such many achievements at school.

My name is Tom, a senior high school student. I would like to share my trouble to everyone and I am looking forward to get some help from all of you. Firstly, computer games are very popular among teenager nowadays, and I am also attracted to them. I am so addicted to playing computer games that I can hardly get rid of them, that does great harm to me ! Secondly, I find it quite difficult learn the subjects well. Thirdly, I used to be a self-confident boy, but now I am not confident in me. Though the head teacher as well as my classmates are friendly and kind to me, but I do not feel like making friends with them.

I wish I would become a outgoing and useful person from now on, but I do not know what to do. I would be very gratefully if you could give me some good advice.
