China plans to establish a scientific station on the moon and has started preparatory research, according to a key figure in the country’s lunar exploration program.

“The next steps in our lunar exploration endeavor will be challenging and demanding as we aim to set up a 【小题1】(science) outpost on the moon’s south pole. In the near future, we will also send our 【小题2】 (astronaut) to land on the moon,” said Wu Weiren, chief designer of China’s lunar exploration program and 【小题3】 academician (院士) of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, on Tuesday. He is now working on the planning and research 【小题4】 the proposed station and the lunar program’s fourth step.

In China’s【小题5】 (late) lunar mission, the Chang’e 4 robotic probe(探测器),【小题6】 consists of an unmovable lander and a rover(流浪者) named Yutu 2, was lifted on top of a Long March 3B carrier rocket in December 2018 at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Southwest China’s Sichuan province, 【小题7】 (mark) the country’s fourth lunar exploration and the world’s first expedition to the far side of the moon.

The probe made a landing【小题8】 (soft) on the far side on Jan 3, 2019, and then released Yutu 2 【小题9】 (survey) the landing site in the South Pole. So far, the lander and rover 【小题10】 (operate) for more than 610 days. Yutu 2 has traveled about 520 meters on the lunar soil.

“One Shoe Project” on agenda

Statistics indicate that China is home to more than 24 million people with physical 【小题1】(disable), many of 【小题2】 are in dire(极度的) need of access to more adaptable and tailor-made business services.   

“Why can’t I buy just one shoe?” This is an issue that most people 【小题3】(easy) ignore, 【小题4】 it is a real need for this group of consumers.   

Given this consideration, the China Foundation for Disabled Persons recently decided to put the “One Shoe Project” on 【小题5】(it) agenda, 【小题6】 (work) in collaboration with Tmall and seven different brands – Warrior, Skechers, Reebok, Qiaodan, Camel, Semir, and ECCO.   

In addition 【小题7】 the “One Shoe Project”, there are also many niche items on e-commerce platforms, 【小题8】(include) electrical appliances for the blind and silicone prosthetics. “The One Shoe Project” is just the beginning.
