Nowadays many people cross streets without watch traffic lights. So traffic accidents often happen for those who didn’t follow traffic rules. Why don’t people follow traffic rules? They haven’t realized an importance of traffic safety. Besides, some people are such busy that they don’t want wait for the green light. How do we solve the problem? First of all, we should develop into the habit of following traffic rules. Secondly, who breaks traffic rules should be punished. Lastly, we should teach kids how to cross streets safe. If we do that, there will be fewer traffic accident and we will live a better life.

Keep traffic safety in mind

To raise students awareness of road safety,one traffic police officer was invited to give us a lecture in the school hall the other days.

At first, an officer presented us with some typical cases of traffic accidents, which greatly shock all the students. Then, he analyzed what led to the accidents and stressed the significant of following traffic rules. Finally, to make all the students at present understand the traffic regulations better, he interpreted them in detail.

So valuable the lecture that all our students benefited considerable. We realized what to avoid being injured on the road and that they should attach great importance to obeying traffic rules as well.

The fastest train in the world, the Transrapid Maglev, run between Shanghai’s Pudong Airport or Longyang Station in downtown Shanghai. Travelling at a speed of over 400 kilometre per hour, the train can complete the 30-kilometre journey for eight minutes. Maglev means “magnetically levitated”. The Transrapid Maglev is a high-speed train ，use magnetic levitation technology. Magnetically levitated trains travel in a vacuum between two magnets. There are no rails and no noise. They travel very fastly and more importantly, it use less energy. On November 12, 2003, the Maglev has reached a speed of 501 kilometres per hour on the track between Longyang Station and Pudong, new world record speed for a train at that time. But the experiment carry out on 1st September last year broke the record.

Over the past few decades we have developed an amazed network of public transportation. Besides, we have decided to make efforts make it even better. I am sure they will satisfy people’s needs for traveling everywhere more convenient. People usually chose the means of transportation based with some aspects, such as the cost and the time needed. For example, businessmen are more likely to travel by plane or by the high-speed train to save time while office workers tend to take buses and drive to work themselves.
