How lucky I am to be a volunteer crisis counselor (顾问) with Crisis Text Line, a free hotline via text messages!_________ most of the texters who reach out to us are under the age of 25, this activity _________ me with the chance to interact with the _________ generation.

My favorite thing about being a crisis counselor is the active _________. Whenever I picked up my phone, I could feel that my whole family were staring at me. ______, the living room fell into a completely______ . All I could hear was the sound of cooking in the oven.

“look! She’s been on her phone all day long! It’s all your______ ! If they are not taught how to behave well, children will ______ respect the elders!” my grandmother ______ .

I was very shocked and ______ ! I opened my mouth to say something, but words failed me and I just sat down______ on the chair like a mouse in its trap. I thought “Here we go again”.

My son did well in his final exam, so I took him to a popular restaurant today for a lunchtime _______. It seemed everyone else had the _______ idea. So the place was _______!

I drove around the small parking lot for 30 minutes _______ for a spot and I _______ found one. A lady returning to her _______ was prepared to leave, which was a relief for me. I followed her and waited with _______ for her to make room for me. _______ I did this I looked in my rear vision mirror (后视镜) and noticed a young man swiftly pull up behind me. As soon as he saw my car light on for the spot, he began hitting his steering wheel angrily and _______. But after I did that I drove away ________. Maybe it was because I had waited so long for a spot I had just given away. The reason why I let that man have my spot wasn’t to be kind.
