A friend gave out me a flowerbed. At first, I didn’t understand why she were so crazy about plant flowers in such a tiny pot. Now I do.

After having it for a few month and joining some groups who did the same thing, I just fell in love with my newly find hobby. Then, I started ordering more species and all the necessity supplies to create my own flowerbeds. I even got a few friends into it, which was a nicely experience.

I really love taking care of little creatures and watching them grow up. The hobby has brought me so many fun and it’s very easy! The flowers mostly take care of them.

One Saturday afternoon, Li Hua and Wang Ping was having an environmental protection activity near the rivers when they catch sight of a bird on the ground. They picked it out and found it wounded. Thinking it might die without timely help, they took it to home. They made a nest for it but fed it with rice and water. Under their treatment and care, the lucky birds got recovered soon. When time came for them fly the bird back to nature, they felt a bit pity but very delighting. I think it`s worthwhile for him to do such a thing. Here I call on the public to show respect to nature. Only by changing the way we treat the environment can we get along good with it.

Recently, we had a hot discussion on if people should keep pets at home in cities or not. Some students think it is a good idea to keep pets because of many old people living alone can get comfort from them. Beside, getting along well with animals will make our life interested. However, some other students are against an idea. In their opinions, if too many people keep pets at home, it’s bad to the environment. What is worse, pets may make too much noisy and even attack people. I like animals, but I don’t think it is bad to keep pets at home. But we must take measures to keep them polluting our environment.
