This is what ________ are all about — family and love. On their big day, the couple spared time to visit Peg and made her the ________ grandma in the world. This was ________ an amazing moment and I'm thankful to photograph them.

Two weeks earlier. My son, Ben had got in touch, he’d moved to England with his mum when he was three and it had been 13 years since I’d last seen him. So imagine my _________ when he emailed me saying he wanted to come to visit me.

I was thrilled (欣喜若狂)! I arrived early at Byron Bay where we were supposed to _______. The bay was _________in sunshine, and there was a group of kayakers around 150m off the shore. Getting a little closer, I realized one kayak (皮划艇) was in _________ . “Something’s not right!” I took off my T-shirt and _________ into the water. I saw there were two instructors on board and a man lying across the middle. He was _________violently. Linking arms with one of the instructors, I helped _________the young man out of the water. He was unconscious and as I looked at his face, something _________ to me. Those brown eyes were very _________ . “What’s his name?” I asked the instructor. “Ben,” he replied, and immediately I knew that stranger was my son!

The instructors called for an ambulance.__________, after a brief stay in hospital, Ben was well enough to be allowed to __________and later the family met up for dinner. We chatted about everything and then Ben __________to me. “I just want to say thank you,” he said. “You__________my life!”

I still can’t believe what a __________it was. I’m just so glad I was there __________to help my son.

For years, I have wanted to write a book. But I never got past _________a page of ideas before my day job and other responsibilities _________ me away.

Then, my first daughter was _________. Living in Canada, my wife and I had one year of paid parental leave between us. We _________my wife would take the first 6 months and I would stay home with our daughter for the second half of the year. A few weeks into my leave, it _________ me that I could get back to writing my book _________ my daughter took consistent 2-hour naps.
