In Sarek National Park above the Arctic Circle, I wake up with the wind   【小题1】 (buffet) the cloth of my tent. It is 7:30 in the morning, and I walk over to 【小题2】 edge of the mountain, watching Rapa River flowing through the valley below.

Sarek's mountains, which used to be covered by vast 【小题3】 (sheet) of ice, are home to reindeer and the Sami. The Sami lived off reindeer for hundreds of years, so they would follow their reindeer 【小题4】 the move into valleys, living in their old tents and enjoying their traditions. Today, most Sami live a modern life in villages near Sarek, 【小题5】 (mere) leaving their traditions in the mountain valleys instead.

In order to keep the land in its 【小题6】 (nature) state, Sarek was made a national park in 1909, 【小题7】 no one else can live except the Sami. Within park boundaries, all new development 【小题8】 (ban). It is hoped that the Sarek National Park will always remain as it is, natural and beautiful.

After breakfast, I set out again 【小题9】 (explore) this unique territory. Being in such a beautiful and wild place which is almost unknown to the outside makes me feel so 【小题10】 (bless) to be alive.

The Northeast China Tiger and Leopard National Park, bordering Russia and the North Korea, 【小题1】(cover) an area of 14,100 square kilometers. It is the major habitat of the country’s Siberian tigers and Amur leopards and is【小题2】model for cross-border wildlife conservation.

Located in the central zone of the mixed coniferous (针叶的) and broad-leaved forest ecosystems in the temperate (温带的) zone of Asia, the park possesses splendid and attractive scenery in different【小题3】(season) In addition, there are plentiful plant species well【小题4】(preserve) in the park, including thousands   of medical plants, eatable wild herbs, honev plants, wild fruit trees and bushes. Some of them are endangered plant species and【小题5】state protection.

The park is a perfect place for the reproduction and survival of birds. Every spring, various forest birds start returning from the. south to prepare【小题6】(lay) eggs. The rich soil of the park also provides a【小题7】(favor) living environment for cold-blooded animals. At present, a community of flesh-eating animals and a community of plant-eating animals make up a complete food chain in the national park, 【小题8】is extremely rare to see in China. The national park will【小题9】(effective) protect Siberian tigers and Amur   leopards, 【小题10】(help) them continue to reproduce and live in harmony with nature.
