For those ready to learn about the darkest chapter of German history, the Topography of Terror museum is located on the site of the former SS and Gestapo (盖世太保) headquarters. Checkpoint Charlie is a few minutes walk away and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe can be reached in around 20 minutes on foot.
