Rome has a handful of bookshops with only English language titles. Here is our list of the main bookshops offering books in English, from old to new titles.
Almost Corner Bookshop
The Almost Corner Bookshop in Trastevere has a wide collection of fiction (小说) works and also carries books on Roman history, art, culture, poetry and many other subjects.

Anglo American
Centrally located near the Spanish Steps, the Anglo American Bookshop only carries books in English but on request can order books in other languages. The shop has recently moved, just down the street.

Open Door
The Open Door Bookshop is a small shop that specialises in buying and selling quality second-hand and old books in English, Italian, French, German and Spanish, as well as some new books.

The Little Reader
This children’s English bookshop in the Esquilino area of Rome collects books from babies to teens in English and Italian. It also has a local cafe (咖啡馆) and garden and offers a regular (定期的) programme of reading events and activities for children and their parents.

Each year Canada Chocolate Town, St. Stephen, New Brunswick, celebrates our community’s rich and delicious heritage with our annual Chocolate Fest. Chinese New Year 2022 in London event programme
Online celebrations
Follow CNY London on social media channels for online celebrations from 31 January to 6 February 2022. Usually, every year, hundreds of thousands of people pour into the West End to enjoy a colourful parade, free stage performances, dragon or lion dancing and traditional Chinese food. But this year special online activities have replaced the canceled parade, live performances and events.

Head to Chinatown where you’ll be able to shop for presents, enjoy on — the — go treats and sit down for a traditional Chinese New Year meal in one of Chinatown’s restaurants.

Follow these tips for celebrating Chinese New Year in London:
Wrap up warm: celebrations take place in February when the weather can be cold.
Learn Chinese New Year greetings: Say “Xin Nian Kuai Le” (Happy New Year in Mandarin) or “San Nin Faai Lok” (in Cantonese)
Dress in red: Red is the key colour of Chinese New Year. You can dress up with a red scarf, jumper or shoes — this will bring good luck for the coming year.
