The Chinese American Museum, 【小题1】 (locate) in downtown Washington, 800 meters from the White House, is the only Chinese museum in Washington, DC, the United States.

Philip Qiu, the founder of the Museum, said it 【小题2】 (establish) to tell the story of Chinese people in America, highlight their contributions to the country 【小题3】 improve people’s understanding of Chinese-American culture.

Over the past few years, the museum has been devoted 【小题4】 collecting, preserving, researching and displaying the history and culture of Chinese Americans. It hopes to encourage Chinese Americans to show 【小题5】 (they) and tell and record their own stories and experiences in the US 【小题6】 (proud).

The museum has held more than 15 high quality 【小题7】(exhibition) with different themes. The items on display include artworks from China and the US, antique documents, calligraphy, paintings and clothing, 【小题8】 has attracted more than 150,000 visitors from all over the world.

【小题9】 (celebrate) the Chinese New Year, from the end of January to the beginning of February, the museum held the “Welcome to the New Year” lantern exhibition and Chinese New Year cultural display activities.

“I always believe that human civilization is like a big family, and the culture of every nationshould be respected,” Qiu said. “Cultural exchanges like this will 【小题10】 (strength) communication between people from the two countries,” he added.

With cherry blossom(樱花) season right around the corner, the local government in Wuhan， Hubei Province, China, issued recommendations for the best places to admire cherry blossoms, including Donghu Park and Wuhan University.

The first 【小题1】(recommend) place is Donghu Park, among the top three cherry blossom parks in the world alongside parks in Japan and the US.

Wuhan University, which was【小题2】 ( previous) locked down due to COVID-19, is now open to visitors, 【小题3】are willing to register online to enter the campus. The efforts of the Wuhan government and local people seem to have had an influence as some travelers have begun choosing Wuhan【小题10】their favorite destination for the upcoming holidays.

The stores 【小题8】 the Chinatown offer a unique range of souvenirs, goods, and clothing. All kinds of traditional Chinese herbal medicine can be found, too, and there are Chinese tea stores, 【小题9】 visitors can taste and buy 【小题10】 (variety) of Chinese tea.
