Château de Fougères

Forêt Adrénaline Rennes

This is an amazing tree top adventure park located on the outskirts of Rennes. Forêt Adrénaline Rennes is perfect for children that need to burn off lots of energy. There are eight tree top routes intended for ages 2 and over, the Black Panther route, 20 m up in the trees and a kilometer-long route made up of five zip wires. There is something for every daredevil here.

Océanopolis

Children will be in their element by the underwater world of Océanopolis with 77 aquariums filled with 10,000 animals from 1,000 different species across the world. Seals, penguins, sharks, and thousands of fish from the tropical, temperate, and polar oceans all live here in Brest in this amazing sea life park.

Village de Poul-Fetan

If you want to discover Breton life back in the 19th century, then this restored village would be a perfect place to visit. You can watch people in historical costume as they demonstrate traditional crafts and techniques including butter churning, pottery making and wool spinning. You can also watch livestock being milked and there is a chance to join in the demonstrations.

Qinghai Lake, China’s largest saltwater lake in Qinghai Province, is a key body of water for lots of animals and birds. As an important stopover, migratory birds (候鸟) would rest in this area during their movement trip every year. The reserve became a national nature reserve in the year of 1997.

The only Bayanbulak Wetland, in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is at the foot of Tianshan Mountains, which makes itself suitable for migratory birds. Bayanbulak means “rich spring water” in Mongolian, meaning that the area is rich in water. Every year, swans (天鹅) from different places fly here for nesting, which became a national swan reserve in 1986.

As one of the largest wintering places for swans in China, this reserve in Shandong Province mainly protects whooper swans (大天鹅), which make it different from other nature reserves. In 2007, it was changed into a national nature reserve. Now every year, thousands of whooper swans arrive here to spend the winter, making it an important resting and wintering place for themselves.

This reserve focuses on protecting coral reefs and their living environment in Sanya City, Hainan Province. In 1990, it became a national nature reserve. This reserve is on the coast, so the area of the reserve has good water quality and many kinds of creatures,

Brooklyn Children’s Museum

The Brooklyn Children’s Museum has something for kids of all ages. With fun, educational exhibits（展览）that teach children about world cultures, history, science and nature, including live animals and a collection of 30, 000 historical objects, even parents will enjoy it. There’s also a special area for children under five, with activities for, the youngest of youngsters.

New York Han of Science

Free Fridays, 2-5 pm, and Sundays, 10-11 am

Kids get hands-on experience with science and technology at this place that offers more than 450 exhibits. There are a few worthwhile things to spend money on during your visit: a round of Rocket Park Mini Golf, a turn in the 60,000-square-foot Science Playground and a screening inside the 3-D theater.

Queens County Farm Museum

As the oldest working farm in New York City, the museum feels like a totally different world than Manhattan. Feed and pet animals like sheep, ponies and goats, tour farm buildings from three different centuries, and come back during fall when you can go pumpkin picking. Don’t forget to stop by the store on your way out for fresh fruits and vegetables grown on the farm!
