Every Tuesday, Louis helps by rocking, feeding, and burping premature babies (早产儿) at USA Children's and Women's Hospital in Mobile. What he learned along the way _________ him to open his wallet.

For the last year and a half, 81-year-old Louis has been _________ babies in the Neonatal (新生儿的) Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the hospital. The NICU _________ volunteers to spend time with premature babies whose _________   can't be there 24 hours per day. Louis is more than _________ to help.

“I love to look at their _________ when I rock them.” Louis said. “This one is smiling at me right now, and it just makes my day to do that.” _________ his time volunteering there, Louis became so impressed by the NICU medical staff that he recently _________ the unit $1million.

Regardless of the weather, the driving conditions, or the distance, Paul Goetchius will make sure low-income students arrive at their college classes on time.

A _______ environmental toxicologist (毒理学家), 76-year-old Goetchius has been offering free _______ to college students for 8 years. Since he first started _______ his automobile to the youngsters, Goetchius has been running 64, 000 miles, and shared a countless amount of meaningful and humorous _______ with the students he _______to and from school.

26-year-old Nina Irby received rides from Goetchius for all four years she was in college, and the trips _______ much more to her than just _______ transportation.

“It’s not just a ride. You’re not just sitting there in _______ silence or with your headphones on,” Irby said. “He asks you questions and _______ remembers the answers, so the next time you ride with him, he’ll ________ those things.”

Goetchius first started as a volunteer ________ through the nonprofit On Point for College. Although the program only asks its volunteers to drive students to and from their classes, Goetchius often goes ________ to ensure the welfare and safety of the students.

For many students, Goetchius’s help is not only ________, it’s entirely necessary for them to be able to ________ their college education.
