Garden for the Environment is excited to have you volunteer! We would prefer that you stay for the entire shift(10 a.m.—3 p.m.) to maximize the amount of work we accomplish. However, we understand if you need to leave early—just let us know when you arrive.

·Arrive by 9:50 a.m. Introductions and instructions will be provided by GFE staff at 10 a.m.

·Bring your own gardening gloves they are highly recommended for your safety. We will no longer be lending out our gloves for health and safety reasons.

·Bring water, snacks and/or lunch, sun protection, and wear close-toed shoes and clothes you feel comfortable moving in.

·You may sign up for no more than one shift at a time to allow access to all who want to help. GFE staff reserves the right to cancel shifts if there’s overbooking. Feel free to sign up for another as soon as you finish one.

·Each person in your party (including children) must be signed up.

·To keep all volunteers safe, children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers 13—17 years old may come on their own but will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver(弃权书).

·No walk-up registration is permitted for volunteer shifts.

·Please sign up only if you are 100% sure you can participate to avoid canceled: tickets.

·A hand-washing station, water bottle filler, and an all-gender portable toilet will be provided.

·There are many steps in the garden, including a large staircase or steep slope to get to the portable toilet. Within the garden, there are several small steps, but large parts of the garden with no steps at all.

·Kneepads are available for use.

Education Unlimited offers two week-long college tours of 10 famous schools in California or along the East Coast with lots of fun and hiking along the way！Our California College Tour includes top schools throughout the state on this well-organized and fun-filled tour. Students arrive in San Francisco and make their way to San Diego. The tour includes housing at business class hotels, and enjoy walking along the way, including Disneyland！Along the way, students take college tours，meet with admission staff（招生员工）, and learn something about their future colleges. Besides, we can stay in a campus dorm（宿舍）so students can get a taste of college life.

The Oxbow School offers Art Camp programs for teens from schools across the nation and abroad. Oxbow’s courses, centered on a self-reflective（反思的）way to art making, offer students rich chances to learn in a good learning environment.

This program offers teens the exciting Hunger Games and Elizabethan-era knowledge，in which teens will find fun events, courses, adventurous activities and campus housing for one or two weeks along the West Coast！

Zandra Rhodes: Fifty Years of Fabulous

The exhibition of fashion designer Zandra Rhodes in London is worth your time. In total, there are 100 styles and 50 fabric(布料)samples to admire. The exhibition can be visited until April 16, 2021, in the Fashion and Textile Museum in London.

Marche et Demarche: A History of the Chanssure

The Musee des Arts Decoratifs has been focused on shoes since this fall. The exhibition centers on different kinds of shoes, from the Middle Ages to the present day and from the West to non-European cultures. More than five hundred objects are on display. The exhibition can be visited until April 23, 2021, at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris.

Thierry Mugler: Couturissime

Thierry Mugler is a successful fashion designer from France. The exhibition "Thierry Mugler: Couturissime” is now visiting Europe for the first time with the opening in the Kunsthal in Rotterdam. The multimedia approach of the exhibition deserves a special mention. The exhibition can be visited until May 8,2021, in the Kunsthal in Rotterdam.

The new exhibition of the Victoria & Albeit Museum looks at the function, status and skills behind a bag. More than 300 objects are used to illustrate the theme.
