On a snowy and wet day, I only had a few minutes to go out and got a coffee before I had to go back to work. I ran out of without my coat, in thin shoes and it was really cold. Blocking my path was a huger puddle (水坑) of icy waters, I was upset. An elderly man on other side of the street removes his hat and bowed to me. Then he said gentle, “Madam, am I 20 years younger, I would carry you across, ” Do that was just a small thing for a stranger, and it certainly warmed me up!

This morning I went to my favorite restaurant for breakfast as usually. Touched by an elderly couple next to me, so I offered to pay for them. Knowing their request, the owner there told me one of her unforgettable day. It was a cold morning that she went with her baby to the store. Her baby was screaming and crying, and she said sorry to all the other people try to shop in peace. Then, when she got the bill, she realized that someone else have paid for it. It touched her so much that it brings her to tears. After she saw me doing this, it reminded her that moment which meant so much to her.

I am totally blind, and therefore specialized training needed to deal with public transportation, street crossings, etc. This morning, I came to the crossing with my trainer. As usual, I ended up standing by the street, at a thorough lost. My trainer told me not to wait too long or you would miss the chance. I begin crossing the street, quickly but cautiously, walking stick in hand, sweep it left to right. I was maybe three quarters to halfway across the street while my walking stick struck a car, which sound was too loud. Then my trainer asked me to go back to her and try again. Because of it took me long to get that right, the lesson was pretty much then. Finally, my trainer allowed me to take her arm and cross the streets.
