Tang Zhenya has worked as a postman of the China Post Laozishan Township Branch，Jiangsu Province for over 20 years. With nearly half of its population living on fishing, local residents either inhabit (居住于) their own 【小题1】(boat) or live along the shoreline.

Tang is a diligent postal employee 【小题2】 begins sorting his parcels at 7 a. m. every day. He will deliver parcels to those living on land first and then set out 【小题3】 (visit) the fishermen on Hongze Lake in the afternoon, which is sometimes 【小题4】 (danger).

In July 2003, he was delivering a notice of university 【小题5】 (admit) to a student. Tang rowed the boat all across the lake. It was flood sea-son and when Tang came to the center of the lake, 【小题6】 huge wave overturned the boat. Tan managed to hold the parcel 【小题7】 (contain) the notice up in the air with one hand, holding on 【小题8】 the boat for life with the other. Fortunately, he 【小题9】 (save) by some fishermen and finally made his way over to the soon-to-be university student’s home.

When the student’s father saw Tang standing outside his door, soaking wet, he was both 【小题10】 (move) and grateful.

In the small Artinno Town in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, a group of able designers have become famous 【小题1】 a result of the recent Asian Games. The designers, graduating from the same art college, are the planners of the Games’ signs and the medals.

All of those in charge of the designs are professors of the China Academy of Art, which 【小题2】 (have) its Xiangshan Central Campus near Artinno Town.

“I think every designer hopes 【小题3】 (create) something special,” says Fang Hongzhang, the designer of the game sign.

Zhang Junjie, a 41-year-old man 【小题4】 led the design team for the medals, started his studio in 2009 and moved it to Artinno Town in 2016. “I decided to work there after 【小题5】 (visit) it for the first time and immediately seeing our office,” says Zhang. He graduated from the China Academy of Art, and is now the 【小题6】 (direct) of the industrial design department of the college.

“Looking out of our office window; you can see a tiny lake surrounded (围绕) by three mountains. This is the 【小题7】 (early) place where I got my inspiration for my design of the medals. I really like 【小题8】 environment here. The office is quiet and relaxing,” Zhang says.

【小题9】 (actual) , more companies from different fields, including film and television, settled down in the town. “My film about Asian Games 【小题10】 (make) with the support of other companies in the town last month,” Zhang said.

There was to be a legendary (传奇的) family responsible for the construction of imperial (皇家的) buildings, 【小题1】 (include) many of the China’s current UNESCO world heritage sites for over 200 years. Their family name was Lei, 【小题2】 (respectful) called “Yangshi Lei”, a term for the emperor’s head architect.

The story of Lei family started in the early days of the Qing Dynasty 【小题3】 Lei Fada and his relatives from Nanjing were ordered 【小题4】 (rebuild) Taihe Palace in the Forbidden City. With his 【小题5】 (significance) skills, his reputation began to spread widely. Lei Jinyu, his son, also made great 【小题6】 (achieve) like Yuanmingyuan.

From 1736 to 1796, the 【小题7】 (four) generation of Lei family designed many buildings from that time. Until the last architect of the family 【小题8】 (take) office in the 20th century, they had completed famous buildings such as the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace, and the Chengde Mountain Resort.

In 2007, UNESCO added “Yangshi Lei” into 【小题9】 list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Humanity, for its influence 【小题10】 Chinese traditional architecture. The architecture of the family will be shining through the age.
