The kindness was repaid to my daughter. When she got to the ________ a couple of months later, she realized she had left her ________ at home and it happened that I had not taken my purse along, either. Then a lady noticed us and saw how ________ my daughter was. The lady gave her the money to go swimming. Surprisingly, it was two dollars, which was the ________ amount as that she had given to the man on the street.

My parents were very nice people. My mother moved to America from her hometown on her own when she was a little child. My dad was sort of a street kid, and he eventually went into the _________ business, selling nickel policies door-to-door. Her words made me cry. I __________ the woman and said yes, that was in fact my dad, and she told me how kind he had been to her family.
