According to officials in China, the giant panda is no longer listed as endangered. After working for many years to increase 【小题1】 (they) numbers, there are now more than 1800 giant pandas 【小题2】live in the wild. This has helped increase the number of pandas and stop them from dying out China will continue to support the giant panda population. Green efforts produce promising results along upper reaches of Yangtze River

Among Sichuan’s many water systems, the Tuojiang River shares a vital position, 【小题5】 because it is an essential tributary (支流) of the Yangtze River, but also due to the fact 【小题6】 the 25,500 square kilometers it flows through cover the most concentrated, densely populated and economically powerful areas in the province.
