Last weekend has witnessed my active participation in the community service with my classmates, the theme of them was “Caring for the Elderly”. As scheduled, we arrived at the nursing home on the morning, where we helped mop the floor, dust the furnitures and clean all the windows. After that, we made dumplings with the elderly, chat together happily. Tired although I was, it was rewarding and meaning. Not only did I bring joy to them, but also I found confidence in keeping their company. It is voluntary labor which enables me to understand the Chinese traditional virtues. To be frankly, I have benefited from it greatly.
