Do not know how to make plans for your children’s winter holiday? The Children’s Farm in Guangzhou is welcoming all of you! At the Children’s Farm, you’ll experience a real farm with cows, pigs, sheep, rabbits and many other animals in their normal environment. We also offer all kinds of farm activities. Now read the following information and instructions to know more about our farm!
Farm Activities:
*Feed farm animals with the food bought in the farm store.
*Children can enjoy horse riding with the help of the farm coach.
*Pick some fresh vegetables on the farm and have a farm cooking.
Instructions:
*You need to make a reservation (预约) on our website 24 hours before you come to our farm.
*Only visitors from domestic low-risk areas (国内低风险地区) can enter our farm.
*Pets are not allowed to be taken to the farm.
Ticket:
*Adults: ￥100
*Adults over 60 or children under 10: half price
*Animal food is not included. You need to pay for it.

Volunteers Wanted
Description:
Children from low-income families or new arrivals have difficulties in learning English based on their growing backgrounds and financial problems. For most of them, tutoring (家教) that build self-confidence in speaking English is beyond their dreams. During the COVID-19 outbreak, a number of children’ have fallen behind with their studies.
We are calling for volunteers with high English proficiency (流利) to provide virtual tutoring lessons at Kwun Tong centre on Saturdays for children in Primary 4—6. These one-hour visual lessons will support them with practicing English conversations through storytelling and/or self decided topics. This activity will help primary school students to improve their English proficiency and confidence by communicating more in English.
Requirements:
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and they are required to be fluent in speaking both Chinese (Mandarin is more preferable) and English.
Volunteer roles:
● Volunteers will be working in a pair.
● Each volunteer pair will be working with the same group’ of children for 4 consecutive (连续) weeks.
● Practice English speaking with the children online.
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered (登记) with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you in this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.

Hot Wheels Garage Automobile Driving Museum
The Automobile Driving Museum is hosting the event on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Children will see life-sized Hot Wheels cars, participate in art projects, enjoy games and racing, and much more.
Admission is free for children 10 and under. Adults are $15 each, seniors are $10 each, and children 11-17 are $5.
The Festival of Colors Cayton Children's Museum
The Festival is hosted on Saturday. This special festival honors the ancient Hindu holiday, Holi. The Museum will “come alive with all-day color play, Bollywood performances, and a visual display of love, joy and kindness." Check the website for details on the day's activities. On Saturdays, the museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Museum admission is $14 each.)

Dana Point Festival of whales Dana Point Harbor
