I used to travel to make myself relaxed. Two years ago, I was rather busy with my business and under a lot of ______ , so I went to Las Vegas for a holiday. I just wanted to get away and ______   for a while.

I was at the bus stop, heading home after a long, busy day, when I served guests at a restaurant. Suddenly I realized I’d left behind my wallet with $80 worth of tips and one of my photos in it! March 22 is World Water Day. The annual ceremony calls attention to the vital need for _______ to clean water. Many people around the world lack this basic human right.

Salva Dut is doing something about it. He is the founder of Water for South Sudan (WFSS) in Africa. The nonprofit _______ wells in the remote Sudanese villages of his childhood.

“_______ things happen around a well,” Dut said. “It _______ many lives, especially for young girls who used to walk miles and miles every day to fetch water in bare feet in extreme heat. Now, they have a(an) _______ to go to school.”

When Dut was young, a war _______ in his hometown. For safety, he had to separate from his family and _______ hundreds of miles, hungry and thirsty. Eventually he was helped by the good people and in 1996, he moved to the United States. Inspired by Dut’s _______ and sense of hope, author Linda Sue Park told his story in A Long Walk to Water which _______ became a bestseller.

Dut started WFSS after learning that his father, who had ________ the war, was sick from drinking polluted water. Dut returned to Africa with a ________, “I’ve had challenges since I was a child. I wanted to provide ________ drinking water.”

This wonderful boy is now inspiring others to make a ________ too. “After reading about Salva’s story. I was so ________ to help WFSS.” said a teenager Maddie. “He survived the journey because he was meant to do something important. His devotion to helping others is truly, inspirational.”

Since 2012, kids like Maddie have ________ more than $5 million to WFSS. Their efforts have helped to bring clean water to more than 250,000 people.
